CNC-rolling
A.K.S. Metalindustri has a large selection of sheet metal rollers in various sizes. As one of the first in Denmark, A.K.S. Metalindustri acquired a 4-roll CNC-controlled roller that can roll ellipses, ovals, and other shapes, which would otherwise be impossible to roll. Besides that, the control system provides great precision when rolling shells, cones, cabinets, and similar elements.
Profile Rolling
A.K.S. Metalindustri rolls all types of steel profiles for flanges and rings.
CNC Stud Welding
A.K.S. has one of Denmark’s largest CNC stud welding machines. The workspace is 1600 x 1200 mm. It has 3 feeding robots, and electronic monitoring and welding quality control. The advantage of stud welding compared to self-clinching studs, is that the stud cannot be seen from the front of the workpiece. Furthermore, it’s a cheaper process.
Self-Clinching Studs/Nuts
A high level of experience and professional qualification is required when mounting studs and compression nuts. Accordingly, A.K.S Metalindustri only utilize specially trained employees for these tasks. Our extensive assortment of precision presses ensures that the insertion is correct by electronic monitoring.
Spot Welding/Resistance Welding
A.K.S. Metalindustri use spot welders running on both AC and DC. Our largest DC spot welder, with a spread of 1350 mm, can weld aluminum plate in thicknesses of up to 6+6 mm in. This spot welder is built and approved to produce according to the demanding MIL standards.
Quality Control
To ensure our high quality requirements, a well-stocked control department with measuring machines that are constantly calibrated and upgraded with the latest technology, is required. Our control department has 4 CNC measuring machines, profile projector, microscopes, roughness testers, hardness tester, layer thickness gauges, PMI tester etc. Our rich assortments of measuring mandrels, measuring rings and thread test mandrels are registered. Our largest Zeiss 3D measuring machine is one of the largest models available in Denmark with a measuring area of no less than 2400x1200x1000 and with a turntable of ø 630 mm.
Surface Treatment
A.K.S. handles all kinds of surface treatments. For those processes that we cannot carry out ourselves, our network of partners who each have high expertise in their fields, enables A.K.S. to take responsibility for the entire supply chain, including price, quality, and delivery.
A.K.S. handles and fulfills the following surface technologies e.g.: Deburring, grinding, vibration deburring, cleaning/washing, glass and sandblasting, galvanizing, as well as all types of painting/varnishing and their attached pretreatments are examples of surface technologies offered and performed by A.K.S.
